Privacy Policy

AutoKeep does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. Everything you enter — vehicles, services, fuel logs, receipts, photos — lives exclusively on your iPhone. Asset Track Sp. z o.o. cannot see, access, or retrieve any of it.

Asset Track is the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation EU 2016/679).
What Data the App Processes
AutoKeep stores the following categories of data — all locally on your iPhone, inside the app's encrypted sandbox:
- Vehicle records — make, model, year, VIN (optional), odometer, notes
- Service and maintenance entries — date, mileage, cost, description, workshop notes
- Fuel entries — date, volume, price, odometer
- Expense records — category, amount, date, notes
- Reminders — due date, mileage threshold, description
- Attached photos and documents — images or files you choose to attach to records
- App preferences — units, currency, notification settings
None of this data is transmitted to Asset Track or any third party. We have no technical means to access it.
Data Asset Track Receives
From the app: none.
The only personal data Asset Track may receive is what you voluntarily send by emailing [email protected] — for example, a support request. That email is processed within the EU and is used solely to respond to you. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete support correspondence when it is no longer needed.
Permissions the App Requests
AutoKeep requests device permissions only when you trigger the relevant feature:
Photo Library
Requested only when you tap "Attach Photo" on a record. Photos are copied into the app's local sandbox. AutoKeep does not scan, index, or access your library at any other time.
Files Access
Requested only when you export a backup ZIP or import one. The export goes to a destination you choose (Files app, AirDrop, etc.). AutoKeep does not retain access after the operation completes.
Notifications
Requested only when you enable a maintenance reminder. Notifications are generated on-device using iOS scheduling. No notification content is sent to any server.
AutoKeep never requests location, contacts, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, or any other permission.
No Tracking, No Analytics, No Third-Party SDKs
AutoKeep contains no analytics code, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party SDK of any kind. There is no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, and no behavioural profiling. Asset Track has no visibility into how you use the app.
Backups and Exports
When you export a backup ZIP, the file leaves AutoKeep's sandbox and goes to wherever you direct it — your Files app, AirDrop, email, a cloud drive you control. From that point it is entirely under your control and outside Asset Track's reach. Asset Track never receives, stores, or has access to your backup files.
App Store and Apple
AutoKeep is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple operates as a separate, independent data controller and collects data under its own privacy policy. This includes App Store account information, purchase records, and aggregated app analytics that Apple may share with us without identifying individual users. App Store review prompts are displayed via Apple's StoreKit API and involve no personal data on our side.

Website
The AutoKeep marketing website is a static site with no cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts, and no contact forms. It contains only static content and outbound links to the App Store and a mailto link. No personal data is collected through the website.
Children
AutoKeep is a general-audience app. Because the app collects no personal data, it does not present specific risks for children. We do not knowingly direct the app at children under 16. If you are under 16, please review these terms with a parent or guardian before using the app.
Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access — right to know what personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — right to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — right to have your data deleted
- Restriction — right to limit how we process your data
- Portability — right to receive your data in a structured format
- Objection — right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Complaint — right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Important practical note: Because Asset Track holds no personal data from the app itself, the primary way to exercise most of these rights is directly on your device — by editing or deleting records in AutoKeep, or by deleting the app entirely. Deleting the app removes all local data permanently.

International Data Transfers
The app transfers no data outside your device, so no international transfer of app data occurs. If you contact us by email, that correspondence is handled within the European Union and is subject to GDPR protections.
Security
AutoKeep uses iOS Data Protection with FileProtection.complete encryption. Your data is encrypted at rest and inaccessible while the device is locked. The app runs inside iOS's strict application sandbox, preventing other apps from accessing your data. Asset Track does not operate any server infrastructure for AutoKeep, which eliminates server-side breach risk entirely.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date and publish the revised version on this page. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.
